Mornings Made Easy with Waffle Waffle

December 14, 2018
Waffle Waffle

Who else has children that are just like them? Madison’s personality is just like mine… unfortunately meaning she isn’t much of a morning person. She loves school but she also loves to sleep in, which can cause a morning struggle. To have our morning routine go as smooth as possible I’ve put together some tips that work best for us.

Start the night before –

Getting together what we can the night before has been a tremendous help and saves us from rushing around in the morning. Rushing seems to always cause more stress, which is not needed.

Pack Snacks & Lunches

Make sure backpacks are ready and any forms that need to go back to work are filled out

Have outfits laid out and ready

Stay on a schedule –

Our kiddos go to bed at the same time every night and we leave the house at the same time every morning. If we are even a few minutes late in the morning, my husband is running around herding the kids to the door, as he is the one who does drop-off. When they don’t get enough sleep, it makes for a grumpy morning… so sleep is key!

Plan for a quick & easy breakfast –

Breakfast is a must and it seems that the first thing my kids do when they wake up is want something to drink and food. Growing bodies need to start their day off with a good breakfast so they can have a good morning at school. Our go to breakfast is Waffle Waffle, which are frozen waffles that are oven baked and made with syrup instead of pearl . These waffles have been a huge hit in our house and have helped with our morning routines.

Simply heat up for 4 minutes in the toaster oven and breakfast is ready! The kids currently love the cinnamon roll flavored but the birthday cake flavor is a close second. During the week these has been perfect for the kids to eat on the way to school or while getting ready in the morning.

On the weekends we are able to make Waffle Waffle into a sweet breakfast treat, with fun toppings! The kids love to top with fresh fruit & whipped cream.

Waffle Waffle can be found right at Walmart making it easy to do your grocery shopping before the week starts. They also offer Grab-n-go waffles that are shelf safe and great for on-the-go, a snack at the park or a road trip. You can grab these online at the Waffle Waffle website or on Amazon!

What flavor will you try out first? Let me know in the comments!

This post is sponsored by Waffle Waffle, but as always the opinions above are 100% my own.

Ashley
