Is it time for Christmas yet? Only a few short months before it is here but in the meantime we are in full holiday mode! Curling up with a blanket and good book has always been super relaxing. To get into the Christmas spirit I started reading Coming Home For Christmas by NYT Bestselling author RaeAnne Thayne and A Wedding In December by USA Today Bestselling author Sarah Morgan.
I can easily get bored with the wrong book but these two kept me wanting to read more. Let’s talk about each book and my favorite things about the both of them.
COMING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS by New York Times Bestselling author, RaeAnne Thayne
Elizabeth Hamilton struggles with postpartum depression and grief after losing both of her parents. After a car accident and the loss of her memory she finally remembers the family she walked away from. Luke shows up at her home asking her to come back home to be with the family, but will the damage be repaired from her leaving him and her children?
Luke was angry for 7 years and had no idea what happened to his wife. He took care of his children and even had rumors go around the town that he had something to do with his wife leaving. Being accused of possible murder Luke discovers where Elizabeth is living and tells her that she needs to come home and clear his name.
Coming Home for Christmas will have you believing and rooting for second chances. The heartwarming Christmas reunion gave me all of the feels.
A WEDDING IN DECEMBER by USA Today Bestselling author, Sarah Morgan
This heartfelt tale will sweep you away dreaming of seeing a snowy winter wonderland in Aspen, Colorado. The White family gathers together for the youngest daughter, Rosie’s, whirlwind Christmas wedding.
The brides parents arrive with a secret that they’ve been keeping. For the last 6 months they have been separated, living apart and now are trapped together in an irresistibly romantic winter wonderland. Family members such as big sister, Katie, believes that Rosie is making an impulsive mistake and wants her to realize what she is doing.
Rosie starts having second thoughts about the wedding but now everyone has everyone. What will she do? This is one White family Christmas none of them will ever forget!
The best part of HQN Books is that they offer something for everyone. Whether you are looking for women’s fiction or romance books, you will be sure to find something. Looking to gift one of these books? They will be a perfect stocking stuffer!
